Pet Evolution and Size
i have a wolf and i went on a mission with these other two dudes with wolves also. the level 18 wolf was friggen huge the and the other dude had a level 15 wolf. my wolf is level 16 also but the dude's level 15 wolf is bigger than mine!? so what did he do to make his wolf bigger?
what influences the wolf's size? is it the way you treat them in battle (eg like not letting the die in battle)? so if you pet masters know let me know cuz i want a huge monster wolf. |

Elder Wolf is just a Wolf or Snow Wolf which has reached the Elder evolution.
It's possible that the evolution does increase the "size" of a pet if say it goes to Hearty evolution, and maybe Elder? But I've never seen anyone say this anywhere either on these forums or on GWOnline's forums. Not to say it's not a possibility, because it's likely to be the cause of why that level 15 Wolf was bigger than the OP's level 16 Wolf. |

As pets gain experience, they increase in size. I just don't know if there is a difference in growth rate between different animals as pets or not.

Ahh, well that explains it then. Its a good way of doing things, my warthog is a bit of a hazord when it comes to killing enemies. It kicks ass!

Screenshots anyone?
Wow! I didn't realize they did that!
Does anyone have a screenshot with two of the same pets at different levels? I'd like to see the size comparison Dwig |

Lol. I guess size DOES matter. But seriously, I have read in some of these threads speculations about evolutions. Your pet will eventually end up as Dire, Hearty, or Elder, depending on your playstyle tendencies with your pet. Dire has more attack, less health. Hearty has more health, less attack. Elder is in between. Notice that creating a PvP Ranger with Charm Animal will automatically grant you an Elder Wolf. Of all the different pet types, wolves are the most balanced. And Elder = neutral. Makes sense.
